The Friends are delighted to announce that a new state of the art camera has been installed in the heronry at the Reserve.
After seeing some of the excellent results with a similar project for Goshawks in the New Forest, the Friends approached a specialist company, Carnyx Wild, in conjunction with Stuart Card, of Horsham District Council, who led the project.
After initial surveys last December, a steerable wireless camera was installed in a tall tree overlooking several nests in the heronry.
Live images are routed to a large screen in the Visitor Centre. and can also be viewed here.
