Join Countryside Warden Sam Fosberry for a fascinating illustrated talk about the status of British pollinators. From the Honey Bees’ wonderful waggle-dance to the detrimental effect neonicotinoids are having on the nation’s most valuable workforce, Sam will discuss the ecology of a range of British pollinators

as well as what the future holds for them.

An Introduction to Microscopy

A practical workshop that will provide a brief overview of types of microscope suitable for amateur use, setting the microscope up, and looking at some suitable specimens. Given by our resident microscopist, Graham Matthews.
This is a joint event between Friends of Warnham Local Nature Reserve and Horsham Natural History Society, and is open to members of both.
